Privacy Policy

Overview

Fever & Meds Tracker: FeverKit is designed with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. All health data you enter — children's profiles, temperature readings, medication logs, and symptom notes — is stored exclusively on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, because we don't have any servers that store your data.

What Data We Collect

Data You Enter (Stored Locally on Your Device)

• Child profiles: name, date of birth, and weight
• Temperature readings: value, timestamp, and measurement method
• Medication logs: medication name, dose, and timestamp
• Symptom notes: free-text descriptions and timestamps

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (for example, using the share sheet to send an episode summary to a doctor). We have no access to it.

Anonymous Analytics (TelemetryDeck)

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand how the app is used in aggregate. TelemetryDeck is designed to collect no personally identifiable information. What is sent:

• App version and iOS version
• Device category (e.g., iPhone)
• Anonymous interaction signals (e.g., "a temperature was logged", "onboarding was completed")
• A one-way hashed user identifier that cannot be reversed to identify you

TelemetryDeck does not use this data for advertising and does not sell it to third parties. You can review their privacy policy at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

Subscription Data (RevenueCat)

If you subscribe to FeverKit Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives:

• A pseudonymous device-level identifier (no name or email)
• Purchase and subscription status from Apple

RevenueCat does not receive any health data you enter in the app. You can review their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

What Data We Do Not Collect

• No names, email addresses, or contact information
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• No data from children directly — all data is entered by the parent or guardian using the app
• No cloud sync or backup of health data

Children's Privacy

Fever & Meds Tracker: FeverKit is intended for use by parents and guardians. The app is not directed at children, and children are not expected to use it. Data entered about a child (profile, temperature, medications) is entered by an adult and remains on that adult's device. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

The only third-party services that receive any data are TelemetryDeck (anonymous analytics) and RevenueCat (subscription management), both described above.

Data Storage and Security

All health data is stored using SwiftData on your device, protected by iOS's standard data protection. We recommend keeping your device protected with a passcode or Face ID.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we do not store health data on our servers, the only data we could hold is anonymous analytics signals and purchase entitlement status.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
